Panel  – Future of Cities

Private industry is creating and deploying tools like cloud computing, robotics, big data, and artificial intelligence (AI) that have public sector applications. As local governments embrace more technology to provide core services, existing models will have to adapt. We’ll explore public sector use of emerging technologies, including platforms that will re-shape land use and mobility, as well as government deployment of AI. In addition, we’ll discuss technology’s impact on public sector jobs and anticipated workforce needs.
