Avid follower, researcher, and supporter of driverless cars
Based in San Francisco, Lauren Isaac is the WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff Manager of Sustainable Transportation. Lauren is involved in various projects involving advanced technologies that can improve mobility in cities. Last year, she was awarded the William Barclays fellowship for developing a guide titled “Driving Towards Driverless: A Guide for Government Agencies” regarding how local and regional governments respond to autonomous vehicles in the short, medium, and long-term. In addition, she maintains the blog – “Driving Towards Driverless”, has presented on this topic at more than 30 industry conferences, recently did a TEDx Talk, and has been published in Forbes Magazine among other publications.
Lauren has a Master of Engineering degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in the same discipline from Cornell University.
